CAR FUEL INJECTION


1. EFI Enhancer:


    HHO gas as the fuel of water used as a hybrid / supplements on land and sea vehicles is one alternative fuel saver environmentally friendly.   In use is not only intended to old cars that still use carburetors but now it can be used on cars new type of fuel setting is set electronically using the EFI system (Electronic Fuel Injection).

 

      EFI system uses various sensors to detect the condition of the engine and car driving conditions. Furthermore, the ECU (Engine Control Unit) engine calculates optimum fuel spray volume, which then ordered the injector to inject fuel.

Sensors include: MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure), MAF (Mass Air Flow), Oxygen Sensor etc. which helps determine in real time the ratio of air and fuel.

      HHO gas is injected through the intake manifold or the through the air filter box, flue gas produces most oxygen detected by the oxygen sensor, so that the ECU considers that the engine fuel shortages that immediately ordered the fuel injector to spray more.

      Excess fuel is what causes the fuel consumption even more wasteful because it is not offset by the amount of spark at the spark plug, this can be evidenced from the exhaust gases that sting in the eyes and the smell of gasoline.

To overcome this problem, so all gasoline cars that already uses EFI technology shall be installed tool called EFI Enhancer (EFIE) equipped with a MAP / MAF and O2 Enhancer.

      Almost all Asian cars starting in 2007 up mainly Japanese car fits perfectly with EFI Enhancer we made, such as the Toyota Rush, Toyota Avanza, Toyota Fortuner gasoline, Toyota Innova, Toyota Vios, Daihatsu Terios, Daihatsu Xenia, GranMax Daihatsu, Daihatsu Luxio , Suzuki APV, Suzuki Ertiga, Nissan Grand Livina etc. And is not suitable mounted on cardboard European cars because it uses a different system, but if it does not fit well still be using HHO with small Ampere which serves to raise the octane level of the fuel only.

      Keep in mind that the reading of the data system ECUs are connected to sensors such as the sensors: MAP, MAF, O2 etc. on each vehicle is different, but in principle there are only 2 kinds of data are used for communication between the ECU with the sensors, namely:


1. The data signal that is based on the change in voltage.
2. The data signal that is based on the change in frequency.

      In the Asian cars usually use the data signal and the voltage changes based on European cars usually use a frequency change to report the data to the ECU.

EFI Enhancer tool that we made based on the voltage change, so usually only suitable mounted on Asian-made cars.

 

A. O2 SENSOR  (OXYGEN SENSOR)

2 wires for heating = + 12v and the ground.

2 wires again each = signal (+) and ground signals.

At the signal (+) will continue to fluctuate between 0 volts to 0.9 volts after the engine starts to overheat (approximately 1.5 minutes after the start time of the morning).

Fluctuations will continue to happen to reach a value of the voltage of 0.45 volts, which means the ratio of air and fuel at the voltage of 0.45 volts when it was 1: 14.7 (ideal chemical reaction in the fuel combustion engine fuel injection system).

 

B. OXYGEN  ENHANCER :

 

      O2 Enhancer is equipped with a potentiometer to make the ratio between fuel and air as we want.

If the pot is rotated at 1 o'clock it will form the ratio between fuel and air around 1:15 and if the pot is rotated to right full it will form a ratio of 1:18 means that 1 liter of gasoline mixed with 18 liters of air which then atomized into the engine combustion chamber.

      The composition of the comparison as above produces exhaust flue gas at a very environmentally friendly and can save gasoline fuel with a maximum because all that has been atomized fuel will be completely burned out.

And it can be proved directly from the exhaust flue gases at a very comfortable for breathing and pain in the eyes, even of Emission Test on 3 cars: Toyota Avanza, Daihatsu Xenia and Suzuki APV using HHO Generator + EFI Enhancer produces:


- Toxic Gas Carbon Monoxide (CO) = 0.00%
- The components forming petroleum HC = 0.10%


HC = 0.1% value means that 99.9% of gasoline burned down and converted into energy of motion.

As we all know that if there is an internal combustion gasoline engine unburned gasoline consumption would then certainly wasteful because much energy is wasted and the exhaust flue gases will sting the eyes.

 

O2 Enhancer is very safe to use because:

  1. Using a very large input impedance is 2 M Ohm so it will not damage the sensor (the sensor can be damaged if the current work going on short to ground).
  2. The maximum output voltage of 0.88 volts so it will not damage the ECU.


Total cable EFI Enhancer (O2 + MAP / MAF Enhancer) No 6, namely:

 

1 pin to + 12V

1 pin for input from the O2 sensor

1 pin for output to the ECU

1 pin for input from the MAP sensor

1 pin for output to the ECU

1 pin to ground

Note pot on EFIE labeled O2, rotate in a full position to right for maximum savings when using HHO generator, but if without HHO then rotate the left around the clock

C. MAP / MAF Sensor :

MAP Sensor Avanza Ket.jpgMAP sensor (Manifold Absolute Pressure) is a component that is located on the engine fuel injection (EFI) for detecting the level of vacuum in the intake manifold.

Suction of the engine to change the value of the input voltage of 5 volts on the next MAP sensor output voltage value is passed to the ECU.

ECU then ordered the injector to spray fuel into the combustion chamber as required by the level of vacuum machine engine through a vacuum hose that pierced the MAP sensor.

      MAP sensor also works determine the size of the air and fuel ratio but by the time the engine is cold or cold air, and during acceleration or speed changes. MAP sensor output voltage received from the ECU is usually between 1.5 volts to 3.6 volts depending on the small valve open when gas pedal.

MAP Sensor cables generally have 3 pieces, each is +5 volts, ground and signal out, but there is also using 4 wires such as the MAP sensor Daihatsu Grandmax.

C2. MAF Sensor:

 

      Sensor MAF (Mass Air Flow) is a sensor that measures the amount of air entering into the engine combustion chamber via AIR DUCT (airways that connect between the Air Filter Box with Intake Manifold that looks like an elephant's trunk).

 

 

The main component of the MAF sensor usually consists of:

1. Thermistor
2.
Hot platinum wire (Heater)
3. The electronic control circuit


      Amount MAF sensor wiring on a new type of car usually there are 5 wires: 2 mass cable / ground, one for the heater cable + 12V, + 5V 1 cable for sensor inputs and 1 output cable sensors (0-5V), there are also only uses 3 cable: 1 12V cable, one cable and one output cable mass (0-5V).

      In principle, a platinum wire deliberately made to emit heat which is then mounted adjacent the temperature sensor (thermistor). If no air is flowing through the hot platinum wire wire will certainly decrease the temperature detected by the thermistor, and subsequent electronic control circuit MAF sensor will produce a quantity of electricity that is reported to the ECU. Increasingly heavy air flow through the sensor, then the hot platinum wire will be cold so that the value of the output voltage will increase.

D. MAP / MAF Enhancer:


    MAP / MAF Enhancer works to reduce fuel consumption by lowering the output voltage is regulated through a potentiometer.


D1. Setting MAP / MAF Enhancer

    Before the car engine is turned on, turn the knob on the potentiometer labeled EFIE MAP / MAF to Neutral position is full to right, if rotated left (counter-clockwise) slowly it will be increasingly poor fuel consumption which is characterized by lower RPM needle.
    After machine is turned on, stepped on the gas pedal and hold it in position around 2000 - 3000 RPM (in writing panel numbers 2-3 because that number multiplied by 1000)

 

 

Turn the potentiometer knob to the left (opposite of clockwise) slowly and stop when the RPM needle down, turn again slowly to the right until the needle starts to rise again RPM look back to 3000 RPM, that is where the setting MAP / MAF most right is on the clock: 10,11,12,1, and 2.

      Hit the gas pedal repeatedly, if smoothly and not faltered when stepped spontaneously then it means that the results of its settings are correct, but if not then you should potentiometer knob is rotated rightmost position (Neutral).

 

 

2. INSTALLATION EFI ENHANCER

 

      There are 3 wires MAP sensor and the O2 sensor have 4 wires, to measure the voltage on each of the cables use the needle by piercing the rubber socket on the position of the edge of the cable to be measured.

 

Use digital multitester that more precise measurement, done by attaching a multi tester black cable to the car body, and the red wire to a needle that has been plugged.

 

 

On the MAP sensor, the wiring looking 1.5V to 3.6V voltage (not the 5V) on the ignition ON position or when the machine is turned on (be careful needle or red wire on multi tester do not touch the car body). Here is a guide to some of the signal cable cars:

If it is found, Tear off the cable sheath using cutting pliers or scissors and cutting the cable did a little far from the terminal to facilitate these connections.

 

Do the same on the O2 sensor to locate the cable voltage of 0.5 Volts and follow suit in the picture below.

Chapter. II

SETTINGS ON VEHICLE ENGINE



1. Carburetor

      Setting carburetor and spark ignition in the vehicle is very important to produce high performance and efficiency, due basically to the additional fuel hydrogen gas go in the engine combustion chamber, the vehicle will be excess energy, for it should be a diminution in the nozzle carburetor for reduce fuel consumption.

      In normal conditions it diminution carburetor nozzle can cause long-term damage to the engine because the engine power shortage which is characterized by a knocking sound when the machine is in the gas pedal, but with the fuel-water (HHO gas) that this will not happen if the setting time spark ignition on the right.

      Spark ignition system on the vehicle also determine the speed of vehicles, as we have seen that the power speed fuel burn at different specified by its octane level, the higher the octane level the faster its power fuel that the vehicle's engine more powerful which causes the pull on the gas pedal getting lighter.

      Keep in mind that the high-octane also not be able to produce a high performance vehicle if not adjustable ignition time, and vice versa. For example in old vehicles still use Carburetors and regular use of premium gasoline containing Lead changed when using gasoline PERTAMAX which has a higher octane levels not feel the difference when Delco not setup again (played several mm / degrees to zero) and also in the car her ECU has been setup at the factory using fuel gasoline octane levels higher then it would be wasteful and pull weight if using fuel containing lead (Premium gasoline) the low octane levels, even sometimes a knock when the engine via an uphill road / ride due to lack of power.

      Ignition settings is easy to do and only takes a few minutes, usually a technician / mechanic machine simply shift or rotate Delko few mm or approximately to towards zero depending on the size of the production of HHO gas. And more precisely, using a tool called Inductive TIMING LIGHT that looks like a gun and equipped with the kind of flash flashlight beamed at the pully (flywheel) rotating machine to determine the exact time the ignition spark plugs.

How to Use Timing Light for engine tuning:

 

1.      Attach the cable (+) red alligator clamp on the battery.

2.      Attach the cable (-) black alligator clamp on the car body.

3.      Attach the spark plug wires Inductive sensor No. 1, the only way linked.

4.      Starting the engine.

5.      Let the engine at stationary lap.

6.      Disconnect the vacuum hose at delco connected to the manifold.

7.      Loosen the bolt fastener delco.

8.      Timing point at which there is a sign on the machine (Pully or flywheel).

9.      Turn the adjuster on the rear timing light towards Zero. (Without adjuster immediately wrote).

10.  Fit the top mark in accordance engine ignition timing, (eg ) the top mark  flywhell / pully be straight with   before TDC.

11.  For the second way, namely memposiskan Adjuster to , it is visible on the sign flywhell / pully later to be straight with the top engine / .

12.  Adjust time keeping Ignition Engine Specifications minus 1 º to  5 º

13.  Tighten the bolt fastener delco and make sure when the ignition is not shifted.

14.  Attach the vacuum hose (which uses double vacuum).

15.  Finished.



2. EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection)

 

      In the vehicle engine fuel setting electronically regulated by a microprocessor that can process input from various sensors in real time machine called the Engine Control Unit (ECU) or often called Contro Powertrain Module (PCM).

      The EFI system has been described previously that uses various sensors to detect the condition of the engine and the condition of the motorist. Sensors include: MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure), MAF (Mass Air Flow) and Oxygen Sensors (O2 Sensors), then the engine ECU calculates the volume of fuel spraying optimally, who then ordered the injector to spray fuel.

      HHO supplement use require an adjustment to the spark plug ignition timing system in order to get maximum savings, because as we all know that the octane levels in various types of gasoline is different, such as: Premium 88, PERTAMAX 92 and Pertamax Plus 95, while gas hydrogen has a very high octane rating of more than 130.

      High levels of hydrogen in the HHO gas octane if not accompanied by an adjustment time (timing) at the spark plug ignition, it will cause fuel wastage because many unburned gasoline marked with the exhaust flue gases in the eyes even more poignant than ever despite large increases engine power .

 

To overcome the above problems then do it manually reset ECU in the following manner:

2A. Reset ECU for HHO Generator:

 

       Follow the steps below:

 

1.      Remove the battery positive pole.

2.      Turn the ignition key to the ON position.

3.      Turn the light switch large (Head Lamp).

4.      Hit the REM and hold a minimum of 10 seconds and release.

5.      After 30 minutes or so, turn off the ignition.

6.      Turn off the light switch is great.

7.      Replace the battery positive pole.

8.      Make sure the HHO generator is installed correctly.

9.      Make sure the fuse on Relay Bosch already installed.

10.  If installed MAP / MAF Enhancer, Turn pot at 2 o'clock position.

11.  If installed EFI Enhancer, Turn pot full kekanan O2 and MAP / MAF in the 2 o'clock position.

12.  Begin to start the engine.

13.  Do not turn the other accessories such as: air conditioning, Radio Tape, lights etc.

14.  Make sure the HHO Generator has lived marked by the release of HHO gas bubbles in the tube accumulator and Ampere meter needle on the PWM has been moved up to right.

15.  For HHO Generator Model: JE5000s, turn the pot on the PWM switch in position 8 Amperes.

16.  For HHO Generator Model: JE6000D, turn the pot on the PWM switch at position 12 Amperes.

17.  For HHO Generator Model: JE8500D, turn the pot on the PWM switch at position 14 Amperes.

18.  Turn off the machine after approximately 15 minutes or until the indicator light Cool Engine death.

19.  Turn on the machine.

20.  Finished.

 

 

2B. Reset ECU fast way:

 

      The facility is owned only by certain cars, among others at: Toyota Innova, Toyota Avanza, Daihatsu Xenia etc. in the following manner:

 

1.      Turn off the engine and open the hood cover.

2.      Open the fuse box located diruang machine or if no then look under the wheel / steer.

3.      See the image position on the fuse box lid and find that reads EFI or FI or INJ are usually worth 10 - 20A.

4.      Disconnect the fuse if it is found and wait a few moments.
After 10 seconds or more, replace the fuse in place originally.

5.      Turn the machine back.

6.        Finished.

 

Reset the ECU on the car's fuel injection in addition to adjust the quality of fuel used is also very useful when there is a Check Engine.

 

 

 

      Check Engine or MIL (malfunction Indicator Light) is a condition where there is usually a light indicator on the panel lit Odometer caused by disruption of the function of the sensors are attached to the machine does not function properly.

This condition is usually caused partly because:

 

§  Sensor connector is not installed or loose

§  Wet sensor connector penetration of water

§  Wiring EFI Enhancer to existing sensors are disconnected or not installed

§  Close the fuel and air filter box not completely closed etc.

 

      For that before resetting the ECU then check first of all the above by tightening the loose sockets, if necessary, first unplug the socket, if wet wipe with a tissue and replace until you feel a click.

Also particularly check and tighten all cable connections sensors connected to EFIE.

If everything is checked then proceed to reset the ECU.
    In certain circumstances if the Reset ECU has been done but the car still more extravagant than before using HHO, then it means that your car can not be reset manually, what to do?


There are 2 ways:

 

1.      Come to the workshop which provides the facility to reset Engine Diagnostic ECU on condition HHO generator is turned on.

2.      If no workshop which owns the facility then use the guidelines 3 Amperes per 1,000 cc, what is it? This means that the use of HHO adjusted according to engine capacity, for example:

 

§  The car has a capacity of 1000 cc engine enough to use electric current  3 Ampere.

§  Cars 1500 cc = 4.5 Ampere

§  Cars 2000 cc = 6 Ampere

§  Cars 2500 cc = 7.5 Ampere

§  Cars 3000 cc = 9 Amperes and so on.

 

3. DIESEL

3A. Conventional Diesel Engine

 

      This is the kind of machine that does not require spark ignition timing, so the presence of HHO gas as a supplement to the diesel engine fuel is happening diruang is very helpful at all, especially if held settings by turning the screw Bosch Pump a few degrees to the right or left (depending on the engine) to reducing fuel sprays it will get maximum savings and more powerful.

The faster a diesel engine fuel burn after injected into the combustion chamber then it shows the higher the cetane number of the fuel. How to measure the cetane number of commonly used, such as the standard of ASTM D613 or ISO 5165, is using Hexadecane (C16H34, which has another name cetane) as the highest benchmark.
